Langkawi MP Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that failure to pass Budget 2021 would plunge the nation into a political crisis resulting in the election of an unstable government.
During his debate on Budget 2021 in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday, the former premier also took a swipe at those who want snap polls to be held “merely to seize power”, reminding MPs that the Sabah state polls led to many Covid-19 cases and deaths in the state.
