Dr M: No one to lead Malaysia Airlines yet

Prime Minister tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government had received four proposals to take over Malaysia Airlines Berhad, including one from a group led by Datuk Pahamin Ab Rajab, but has yet to come to a decision on who to take over.
The Prime Minister said this after attending a dialogue with industry players at the TVET Conference 2019 on Tuesday.
It was reported that Pahamin, who is former director-general of the Road Transport Department and chairman of AirAsia Berhad, and his five partners had met with the Prime Minister to express interest to help turn the airline around.
