Dr M says he's in the dark over SD, will step down after Apec

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has questioned the legitimacy of the statutory declaration (SD), purportedly signed by 138 MPs from both sides of the divide, who wanted him to stay on until the end of the term.
Speaking to reporters in Langkawi on Friday (Feb 14), the Prime Minister said he was in the dark about the SD and
reiterated that he will keep his promise to handover the post to his successor after the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit which Malaysia hosts in November this year.
