Dr M unveils VM 2020 logo, sets 30 million tourist arrivals target

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad unveiled the Visit Malaysia 2020 logo and set a target of 30 million international tourist arrivals next year.
With a target of 30 million international tourist arrivals, Dr Mahathir said increasing flight connectivity from other destinations to Malaysia is one of the initiatives to be undertaken to boost tourist arrivals.
The logo, which is a winning entry by graphic designer Alfred Phua Hong Fook, features recognisable Malaysian icons including the hornbill and bunga raya in the colours of the Jalur Gemilang.
