Dr Maszlee: All IPTAs must be completely disabled-friendly within 10 years

Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik on Thursday announced that all public higher education institutions (IPTAs) must become completely disabled-friendly within the next ten years, as part of the the guidelines for the OKU (Disabled) Inclusion in Higher Education Institutions Policy that was implemented in January.
He said the policy is to ensure that the OKU community will not be sidelined from education. He said this after launching of the guidelines at the International Islamic University (IIUM).
