Dr Maszlee: I’ll stay as IIUM president until it becomes ‘Oxford of Muslim nations’

Despite objections to his appointment as the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) president, Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik said he will keep the university post to help transform IIUM into the “Oxford of the Muslim countries”. and will help the return the institution to its glory. He said this after a two-hour-long meeting with student activists who are against his appointment on Wednesday.
