Dr Zaliha: Search expands to manholes towards IWK sewage plant in Pantai Dalam

Rescuers are searching two additional manholes near the Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) sewage plant in Pantai Dalam for 48-year-old Vijayaletchumy.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa told reporters at the scene on Saturday (Aug 24) that the cause of the Jalan Masjid India sinkhole has not yet been determined.
Dr Zaliha said the ministry will also do a remapping of the areas in Kuala Lumpur including Jalan Masjid India to ensure safety.
