Driver claims microsleep caused crash under flyover

A 40-year-old man claimed that he had lapsed into microsleep before ramming his vehicle into a motorcyclist in the emergency lane at Jalan Kuchai Lama last Sunday (March 23).

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Asst Comm Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa told Buletin TV3 that the driver has been released on police bail but further investigations are still ongoing.
