Driver jailed, fined for ramming traffic police

The driver who hit an on-duty traffic police has been sentenced to three months in jail, fined RM5,000 and having his driving licence suspended for three years.
25-year-old college student Tan Wooi Zhan pleaded guilty at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for hitting Constable Mohamad Aniq Ariz Mohd Kasim with his car at the crossing of Jalan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur at 8.11am on Tuesday.
