Driver misidentified in fatal Sg Petani crash, SUV driven by owner

Police have confirmed that the SUV involved in a fatal collision with a lorry carrying a load of soil in Kampung Baru Pinang Tunggal, Sungai Petani, on Sunday (June 7), was driven by its owner, Ahmad Fahim Ahmad Shukri.

Kedah police chief Datuk Adzli Abu Shah said earlier reports had incorrectly identified the driver as 29-year-old Lance Corporal Ahmad Syafiq Ahmad Shukri.
