Drop in wooden product exports in Q1 of 2023, says ministry

Despite a 3.2% decline to RM6.36bil in the export of Malaysian wooden products as of April this year, Deputy Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Siti Aminah Aching said the ministry remained optimistic about a rebound by the industry to maintain the overall year-on-year growth.
Aminah said this during the launch of the Malaysian Wood Expo held in Kuala Lumpur from June 18-20.
