Dubai Move: 75 police reports lodged to date, says CID chief

Seventy-five police reports have been lodged over the "Dubai Move" to date.
Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain told reporters on Wednesday (Jan 10) that 31 reports were lodged by politicians and the remainder by the public, adding that police are investigating the case under Section 124C of the Penal Code for attempting to commit activity detrimental to parliamentary democracy.
Comm Mohd Shuhaily also said his department was examining the statement of blogger Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin in a YouTube video that claims PAS MPs will be arrested under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
