E-hailing driver charged with causing passenger's death while allegedly high on syabu

An e-hailing driver pleaded not guilty at the Shah Alam Magistrate's Court on Thursday (Oct 8) to three charges over a fatal crash on the Damansara-Puchong Highway last Sunday.

Muhamad Syafiq Ibrahim, 37, is accused of driving under the influence of syabu, causing the death of a 22-year-old Maldivian student and injuring another passenger.
