Easing border control will be considered when everything is under control, says Health DG

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said discussions are being held to consider whether it is safe to open up Malaysia's borders to foreign visitors, as the country enters the recovery phase amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said the ministry could possibly look at a country's ranking in the global Covid-19 recovery index before opening up its borders to a particular country or have travellers screened and quarantined before they make their trips to Malaysia.
