Election Commission cannot be rushed for Sabah polls, says acting chairman

The Election Commission will need time to coordinate the logistics for the upcoming Sabah election and it will not rush the process to ensure a fair election, its acting chairman Dr Azmi Sharom said on Tuesday (Aug 4).
On July 30, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal called for a dissolution of the state assembly after facing a coup attempt led by Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
