Motorbike taxi drivers in Hagonoy, Philippines have come up with an ingenious way to weather persistent floods, by using strips of metal and steel tubes to elevate their vehicles.
The modification can raise seats up to a metre (3 feet) higher, helping commuters to stay clear of the knee- to waist-deep floods, which can reach up to 2 metres in height during the monsoon seasons and when typhoons hit.
