Elmina plane crash: Search for debris, human remains almost done, says IGP

The search for aircraft debris and human remains is almost complete at the scene at the Elmina Township in Shah Alam, say the police.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain told reporters at the scene on Friday (Aug 18) that authorities were searching an 11,000sq metre area for aircraft debris and human remains and found one complete body, nine human remains as well as five severed body parts so far.
Razarudin also said police have been told that the aircraft was only equipped with a cockpit voice recorder (CVR) which was found at around 10pm on Thursday.
