EMCO: MAF denies personnel wearing helmets to shield themselves from projectiles

Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) chief General Tan Sri Affendi Buang has denied claims that soldiers stationed at the Selangor Mansion in Kuala Lumpur are wearing helmets to protect themselves from projectiles, including urine-filled plastic bags, allegedly thrown by residents.
He told Bernama that MAF personnel only wear helmets at areas declared to be under enhanced movement control order while elsewhere it is as usual.
