Engineer fined RM6,000 for selling obscene photos via app

The Petaling Jaya Sessions Court on Monday fined an engineer RM6,000 after he pleaded guilty to selling obscene photographs of a woman for RM100 through the Telegram application two years ago.
Judge Norshila Kamaruddin sentenced 34-year-old Mohd Azri Zahari after he admitted to have used the service to provide obscene communication for commercial purposes to a man using an account named ‘Menteri Pasola’.
