An enhanced MCO will not be imposed on the construction site on Jalan Damanlela in Kuala Lumpur, despite the 800 Covid-19 cases there as health authorities have taken measures to control the situation, says Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He added that the construction site had been closed since cases were detected in the area.
"The Health Ministry is of the opinion that there is no need to impose an enhanced MCO in the area and they have taken the necessary action, which is to screen all workers at the construction site.
"Those who tested positive have been sent to hospital and those awaiting results have been placed in quarantine," he said in a media briefing on Wednesday (Nov 18).
