MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has urged Melaka voters to turn out in force on polling day, stressing that every vote counts, particularly in closely contested constituencies where small margins could determine the outcome.

Speaking to reporters after the launch of the joint Barisan Nasional-Perikatan Nasional manifesto in Ayer Keroh on Friday (Nov 6), Dr Wee also expressed confidence in MCA’s four candidates, saying the two incumbents had strong grassroots support while the two newcomers had quickly mobilised their campaign teams despite being named at the last minute.

On the joint manifesto, he said its proposals were practical and focused on issues affecting ordinary Melakans, including the cost of living, job opportunities and family development.
