Ex-CCM CEO, son slapped with 37 corruption charges

Former Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) Datuk CEO Datuk Zahrah Abd Wahab Fenner claimed trial at the KL Sessions Court on Wednesday to 33 corruption and abetment charges amounting to RM5.71 million.
The bribe is said to have been in exchange for her approving entrepreneurial programmes and the appointment of companies.
Her son, Abdulazeez Wan Ruslan, 33, was charged with four counts of corruption and abetment amounting to RM160,000.
