Ex-envoy, son charged with growing 102 cannabis trees

A retired diplomat and his son pleaded not guilty at a Sessions Court in Raub on Wednesday (June 8) to a charge of cultivating 102 cannabis trees.
Datuk Zainal Abidin Alias, 78, and Mohamed Rizal, 53, were accused of committing the offence at Lot 5718, Kampung Sum-Sum Hilir in Janda Baik at 6.10pm on May 21.
