Ex-MBI top official rearrested, RM600,000 found in another premise, says MACC chief

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was granted a seven-day remand on Thursday (Oct 17) for a former top official of a Selangor state advisory body, who was rearrested the day before.
MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki told reporters that the former COO of the Selangor State Development Corporation (MBI) is being remanded in connection with the MBI project, but on a separate issue.
He added that MACC is reviewing 20 projects, and so far, about 18 individuals have been called to provide statements, with more arrests expected.
