Exiled Egyptian lawmaker Dr Abdul Mawgoud Dardery related the “deteriorating situation” in his home country since the military coup in 2013 that overthrew the first democratically elected president, Mohamed Morsi. He added that Malaysia has set an example of a democratic country after a peaceful transition of power in the May 9 general election.
