'Extortionists, not Ah Long' set fire to man's house even after he paid debt

Despite paying an "Ah Long" RM33,000 for a mere RM1,500 loan, a 27-year-old customer service personnel claimed to almost have had his house burnt down.
The victim, “Lim” spoke on Wednesday at a press conference held by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong who advised the public to borrow money through legal channels instead of resorting to loan sharks.
