Family of Teoh Beng Hock seeks court order to open murder probe

The family of the late Teoh Beng Hock has filed a judicial review application seeking to compel authorities to open a murder investigation into his death,17 years after he fell from the 14th floor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam on July 16, 2009.

His brother Teoh Meng Kee, father Teoh Leong Hwee and mother Teng Shuw filed the application on April 17, naming the Inspector-General of Police, the Criminal Investigation Department director, the police and the Attorney General as respondents.
