In this exclusive 'red carpet' report from actress Kavita Sidhu and Italian geologist Roberto Guiati's wedding reception, Star2.com and TheStarTV asked their celebrity guests for relationship advice, parenting tips and messages of love for the happy couple.

Kavita, 45, and Guiati, 36, celebrated their marriage with a star-studded ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on January 8. Kavita, a former pageant winner and model, wore a stunning embroidered dress of her own design, while Guiati brought classic Italian style to the party in an Ermenegildo Zegna suit.

The dinner, hosted by Kavita’s parents Datuk Dr Joginder Singh and Datin Dr Prabha Joginder Singh, was attended by almost 500 guests. Among their celebrity friends were former Miss Malaysias Yasmin Yusuff, Deborah Henry, Arianna Teoh and Elaine Daly, actresses Sofia Jane, Ida Nerina and Vanidah Imran, actor Hans Isaac and singer Ning Baizura, who performed two songs for the bride and groom, "All Of Me" and "At Last".

Kavita and Guiati met eight years ago and had been dating for over four years before he proposed to her while on holiday in Phuket, Thailand in July last year. Guiati currently works for the KL regional office of Pibiviesse, an Italian manufacturer of engineered valve where he is developing the Asia Pacific markets. The husband and wife duo also own Zenzero Restaurant & Wine Bar in KL.
