Female Chinese peacekeepers honored after terrorist attacks, COVID-19

A female medical detachment of China’s seventh batch of peacekeeping troops to Mali, West Africa are being recognized after fulfilling their mission despite terrorist strikes and COVID-19 in the area.
In just over a year, the medical detachment treated 2,944 wounded and sick and performed 58 operations.
The detachment also transported wounded and sick people 13 times by air.
