Fighter Liew Daren a step closer to world title

Malaysia’s independent shuttler Liew Daren defied the odds to reach the semi-finals of the world badminton championships in Nanjing, China. It will be an uphill task for him to play against favourite Kento Momota of Japan next. No matter what the result will be, Daren has already delivered at least a bronze medal for Malaysia in his second appearance in the tournament.
