Filipina volunteer teaches children from Thailand’s slums

Tina, a 35-year-old Filipina teacher, is a volunteer who teaches English to children from the slums in Songkla for free.
She works for a foundation for children and conducts English classes twice a week, for two to three hours per session.
Some eight to nine children attend her lessons which is located near the train station in Hat Yai, Songkhla.
She uses a simple teaching method and occasionally translates the words to Thai to help her students understand her lesson.
