Flood victims at relief centres urged to adhere to SOPs

Every flood victim ordered to evacuate to a relief centre needs to be screened and adhere to the physical distancing rule, said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister (Security Cluster) said that on Tuesday (Jan 5), adding that the directive was part of the flood management standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the government to break the Covid-19 chain during the flood season.
Ismail Sabri also reminded evacuees that no group activities such as gotong-royong and cooking will be allowed at the temporary flood relief centres, adding that packed food would instead be distributed to the victims, in view of the Covid-19 situation.
