FLYsiswa subsidy increased to RM400 to ease students' travel costs, says PM

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced an increase in the FLYsiswa flight ticket subsidy from RM300 to RM400 per person, effective Jan 1.

Speaking at the launch of the FLYsiswa Carnival and Madani Student Transportation Carnival at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam on Thursday (Dec 12), Anwar emphasised that the initiative aims to ease the financial burden on students from Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, who often face high air travel costs when returning to their home states.
