FOA officer charged with submitting false claims, gratification

A 42-year-old Economic Advisory Affairs officer of the Farmers’ Organisation Authority (FOA) claimed trial at the Ayer Keroh Sessions Court on Tuesday (May 14) to have allegedly submitted fake claims and accepting bribes.
Mohd Zairey Yahya was charged with using a document containing false information, among others, the Certificate of Completion for a project related to the supply of agricultural tools and nine metric tons of galangal seedlings worth RM44,550.
