Food vendor gives out free congee to pay tribute to King Bhumibol

A congee food vendor is offering the public free congee for three days to expressing gratitude to Thailand’s late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Most of the 35-year-old’s recipients have been university students as his stall is located next to a university in Phayao, Thailand.
The vendor said that he was reminded of His Majesty’s philosophy of sufficiency economy and wanted to do something for the late king.
He will be giving out free congee again for three to five days starting Oct 24.
