Fuziah explains Mujahid's statement on transgenders using public toilets

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Fuziah Salleh clarified on Monday that minister in charge of religious affairs, Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa, had a slip of the tongue when answering the issue of trans women using female toilets. She added that the Government is looking at ways to empower the transgender community but in the meantime, transgender people have been urged to use toilets for the disabled (OKU) as a temporary measure.
