German authorities say everything points to 'Islamist terror' in pride van attack

The van attack and stabbing incident that happened at a pride gathering at the Tiergarten park near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin at about 10pm on July 25 was an act of “Islamist terror”.

German authorities said the suspect identified as Abdul Ballout who was the driver of the van was killed during a shoot-out with the police in the Spandau district the following day.
