GISB Case: Govt pledges support to improve future of rescued children, says Zahid

Police would look into the GISB Holdings matter from a criminal element whilst the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) and the state religious affairs departments would look into the religious practice aspect, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday (Sept 19), Ahmad Zahid also mentioned that the Cabinet meeting earlier in the week had centered on the welfare, education, training, and future prospects of the children and teenagers affected.
