GOF rescues 30 wild birds worth RM24,000

Fast action by the 10th Battalion General Operations Force (GOF) led to the rescue of 30 oriental magpie-robin birds worth RM24,000 which were headed to Indonesia.
The GOF’s deputy commander, Deputy Supt Frediel Nyambong, said on Saturday that an Indonesian was arrested after he was found in possession of the protected birds without a permit.
