Government studying Pakistan’s proposal to export beef to Malaysia

The government will look into Pakistan’s proposal to export up to US$200mil worth of beef to Malaysia.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this is part of efforts to enhance agricultural collaboration between Malaysia and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said the imported beef from Pakistan will meet halal certifications required by Malaysian customs and the Malaysian food authority.
