Govt asked to regulate container depots, says minister

Stakeholders in the shipping and logistics industry have asked the government to regulate container depots so that there is a legal framework that covers management of the charges and standard services, says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister said that after chairing the National Logistics Task Force (NLTF) meeting on Tuesday (April 11), adding that if the standards are not met, the government through the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) can take action on the container depot operator.
