Govt establishes Men's Empowerment Network to strengthen fatherhood role

The government remains committed to empowering men through the Men's Empowerment Network (MEN), a strategic platform to produce responsible, resilient family heads capable of building strong family institutions.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the initiative, led by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, brings together 20 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to drive the fatherhood programme holistically and continuously.

His speech text was read by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Lim Hui Ying at the National Father's Day Celebration 2026, themed 'As Great as a Father's Love', in Cyberjaya on Sunday (June 28).
