Govt intervention stabilised chicken prices, supply, says PM

The intervention measures taken by the government to ensure the security of food supply have paid off as chicken prices are now lower than the ceiling price of RM9.40 per kg, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Prime Minister said the intervention measures included abolishing the approved permit (AP), halting chicken exports and creating buffer stock for chicken and fish.
