Govt issues SOP for Aidiladha korban activities

The government has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) for korban activities (sacrificial rites) ahead of the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri said that on Wednesday, adding that the full SOP for the korban activities was issued as a guideline for Muslims to follow during the recovery movement control order (MCO).

Dr Zulkifli told Wan Hassan Mohd Ramli (PAS-Dungun) during question time after he asked if there were any new innovative techniques that were being adopted so that korban activities adhered to the SOP set by the National Security Council (NSC).

Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate the Hari Raya Aidiladha next Friday (July 31).
