Govt letting MCO restrictions slide on theme parks, water parks being closed starting July 1

Theme parks, including water parks, will be allowed to operate beginning July 1, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister (Security) said that on Monday, and stressed that theme park operators must abide by Covid-19 SOPs, which includes ensuring the adherence to social distancing at all times and to limit its visitors based on the capacity and space of the venue.
For those who operate water parks, Ismail Sabri said they need to abide by SOPs and guidelines on the management and maintenance of swimming pools, which is under the purview of local authorities.
Ismail Sabri also said that water parks must abide by guidelines pertaining to the maintenance of swimming pool water quality.
