Govt stands firm on decision not to disclose final report on MA63

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak affairs) Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib on Tuesday (Nov 17) said the government opines that there is no need for it to make public its final report by the Cabinet special committee that reviewed the implementation of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).
She said this was because it involved sensitive matters classified as official secrets.
She was responding to Sepanggar MP Datuk Mohd Aziz Jamman's question on the report.
