Govt studying possibility of further reducing face mask ceiling price

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Aug 25) that a detailed study on the ceiling price of the three-ply face mask, which is expected to be concluded in either September or October could see a further reduction in the ceiling price.
He said this in reply to Rasah MP Cha Kee Chin who had asked if the price of face masks could be lowered in stages as the current supply of face masks was adequate.
