Govt targets 60% RFID use for toll payments by end 2022

The Works Ministry is targeting 60% usage of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for toll payments by the end of 2022, the Dewan Negara was told Monday (Dec 20).
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup said the ministry also aimed to stop the use of Touch'n Go and SmartTAG cards by the end of 2023.
