Govt to discuss ban on 'dummy buckle', says Loke

The Transport Ministry, in collaboration with the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, will hold discussions on banning seat belt buckle disablers, or "dummy buckles," currently available on the market, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday (Feb 17), Loke said the discussions will focus on enforcement measures by both ministries, as the widespread sale of these devices violates road safety regulations.
