Govt to provide for students stranded on campus

The government will provide food to students who are staying in university or college campuses following the imposition of the movement control order (MCO), says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Defence Minister said that in a press conference on Friday (March 20) on non-health related matters after a special meeting by ministers on MCO implementation.
Asked how many students were affected and what the cost to be borne by the government would be, Ismail said the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) would be calculating the numbers that were actually staying on campus currently.
